On the Embellished Caesar

Typical caesar salads tend not to do it for me, but if you add embellishments to this culinary classic--the results can be quite delightful. I take the typical caesar and give it a good dousing of lemon, add hard boiled eggs, avocado, and corn.  Sometimes I will substitute kale (well massaged) for the lettuce base and go big and make peppery homemade croutons.  Today I had an embellished caesar for lunch. With an Arnold Palmer, it was perfection.
